The Song of Contentedness

Three Sisters

(Intro)

Take heed, my children, what you see

Repeating throughout History:

A well known tale of these three Misters

Who hitched their wagons to

These Three Sisters.

(Verse 1)

(Femme Fatale sings)

Miss Sister One’s a Diamond Diva

Manicured and schooled in Heart Attacks!

“Her way,” or rue the day.

Oh, the!  Air of Discontentment!

Miss Lipstick Mistress She-Deceiver.

Saboteur who wields a Battle Axe!

She’s Mrs. Intimidating.

(male trio…Beach Boys-esque falsetto)

No Se-ren-ity!

Poor Me!

Wish I hadn’ta been so blind to seeeeee!

(Verse 2)

Miss Sister Two, she’s Ever-Blue.

Put her faith in Candle Wax!

Traded her today for what will melt away.

“Go Slay your idols,” sayeth the Commandment.

Just one more something new will make her dreams come true.

Credit Cards run to the Max!

She’s Mrs. Accumulating.

(male trio…Beach Boys-esque falsetto)

No Serenity!

Poor Me.

Wish she wouldn’t have believed in all the magazeeeenes!

(Instrumental break)

(Building tension!)

(Verse 3)

(Wow…music gets big…horns)

Now we turn to Miss Sister Three!

She’s in touch with her harmony!

Under Pressure or Fear:

Seek Serenity!

She’s on board with the strategy!

And she can cope with each tragedy.

When Anxiety’s near…

(break)

Think Eternity!

(super slow…at singer’s discretion)

She can lead or let go…

She can go with the flow…

She can be still…

and know.
